At RFB Woven Art, we collaborate with Embera, Wounaan and master weavers globally to bring their cultural legacy into contemporary homes. From hand-woven baskets and masks, to traditional ceremonial dolls, each piece is unique, numbered, and built to last.
Alive with motion and myth, this Wounaan basket from Panama celebrates the grasshopper—an emblem of abundance, agility, and rhythm in the rainforest.
An eight year accomplishment by master weaver Ernestina Valencia. The weaver create an outstandingly oversized basket with a modern, popular design in black and white.
Woven in Rwanda by the womens cooperative Gahaya Links. These long lean baskets are made in 2 layers, the inside structure is supported by a weaving of bamboo, creating the height and structure.
